The studio takes a much needed break after two weeks of desk critiques and pin-ups to visit the Currier Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire. It was a great opportunity to see a Frank Lloyd Wright house. A guided tour provided students an insight into the mind of one of the greatest modern architects. Though the main focus was with the house itself, the museum had other artifacts of interest, including scaled models and drawings of the house, as well as a Picasso painting and an Eames Chair." -

Given constraints of 10'x30' in plan, design a space to exhibit light. Working as a group, we were assigned a site behind Chaplin Hall. Our designs are to perform the conventional tasks of keeping weather out, have two entrances, of which at least one is large enough to accommodate a 6' x 8' object. -

Visually analyze paintings by Miro, O'Keeffe, Angelico, Leger, Kandinsky, Klee and de Chirico. Render the analysis in three phases. First, as colored paper collage, second, as a 3D model, and third, as an ink and Mylar drawing. -
