Mad River Valley Electric Car Share 4.18.13 from Mad River Valley Television on Vimeo.

Norwich University architecture students presented their design ideas for an exploration of an all-electric car share for the Mad River Valley as part of the Mad River Valley Planning District meeting on April 18 at the East Warren Schoolhouse.  Third and fourth year students in Professor Wendy Cox’s studio developed a master plan with several alternative car hub designs with suggestions of how this could then spur additional economic opportunities for The Valley.  Get all the details from the video by Mad River Valley Television.

Steal Like an Artist

Second year studio students are stealing an idea from Austin Kleon's book Steal Like An Artist. Austin Kleon recommends writing a public fan letter and ends the section by saying: "The most important thing is that you show your appreciation without expecting anything in return, and that you get new work out of the appreciation." It's a beautiful concept. Students are writing those kinds of letters for Project: Public Fan Letter. Feel free to do a few of them yourself.
